  Project Prius Hunter, Exhausted

After installing a mocked-up long block so the

header could be fitted it was time to fab
the rest of the system. LC Engineering's
header came with a ceramic coated down-
pipe which allows flanged mounting and an
02 sensor mount, but this had to be cut
significantly to move the Flowmaster HP2
resonator forward to the original catalytic
location. From there the 2.25" pipes go
through a Magnaflow muffler, all mounted
using factory points and hangers. No trans to
downpipe support was supplied with the
header, but fabricating one will greatly reduce
the chance of cracking a primary tube.

1966 Porsche 912 "Barn Find"

This extremely original and complete 912 was a two
owner car, the 2nd owner purchasing it in 1968. A body restoration in the early 90's helped preserve the
numbers-matching car until this point. Once an entry
level car, 912 values have been driven steadily upward by the rising prices of their 6 cylinder cousin, the 911. Virtually identical on the outside, the 4 cylinder model offers all the style of the 911 with a much lower entry price and reduced maintenance costs. This example has been sent to a new home in the Northeast.

1989 BMW 635CSiA
Followed me home. Last year of the iconic E24
chassis (1976-1989) in Cinnabar over black. '89
was the only year the 6 came with the later big
valve/big port 210hp engine which carried into the
7 series until 1992.  This example has the rear
cooler, memory seats and load leveling suspension.
Beyond maintenance issues some remedial work
is needed on the RR quarter panel from a very poor
  repair.
